Meet the owners..

Meet Markie; the owner of the coffee side of Midwest Press. Markie found a love for coffee after visiting other local coffee shops and traveling helped bring a vision of what she wanted her own coffee shop to be. She has a love for her family (husband and two boys), her community and coffee. When deciding to open a coffee shop she knew she couldn’t do it without the best baker around; her sister-in-law Emily.

Meet Emily; the owner of the bakery side of Midwest Press. Emily has been baking for years and has been bringing birthday parties and events to life with her baked goods. From custom cakes to her sweet homemade cinnamon rolls, she brings baking to another level. You can find her bakery case stocked daily with the best treats! Emily also has a love for her family (husband and 3 boys) and everyone who knows her knows she is the biggest dog lover.

Together Markie and Emily hope to bring people together through their coffee and baked goods and have a business that thrives enough to make giving back to the community a staple of Midwest Press.
